Latino Summit Scholarship 

To qualify for the Latino Summit Scholarship, please complete these three steps. 
Scholarship Application

1. Essay portion

This step will require you to answer one mandatory, and your choice of two essay questions. You will submit your answers on the application form, however, you are encouraged complete your essay in a separate program such as MS Word, Google Docs, etc. Doing this will allow you comfortably edit your essay before submitting it. You can then copy and paste your responses into the form. You can find the essay questions below.

2. Application

Complete the Scholarship Application in full. Be sure to submit your application before exiting your browser. Any answers not submitted will not be saved.

You will be able to answer your essay questions directly in the form. 
Deadline for Scholarship Submissions is:
October 21, 2022

3. Notify your counselor

In order to complete your application, your counselor will have to submit your transcripts to the application review committee.  

Essay Questions:

Below are the essay questions you will be required to answer. The first question is mandatory. Then you can choose two of the remaining questions to answer. Please keep your answers to 250 words or less per question.

​Why should you be selected for the Latino Summit scholarship? Please describe any academic achievements, community service activities, examples of leadership, or other personal characteristics that make you deserving of this scholarship.

What are your goals after graduating from high school and how do you plan to achieve them?

​What obstacle(s) have you faced and how have you overcome these obstacles?

In the future, how do you plan on giving back to your Latino community? 

QUESTION 5

​What do you remember about attending the Latino Summit? What impacted you the most? What did you take away from the experience?

QUESTION 6

​What will be the most challenging aspect of attending college for you? What have you done/what are you doing to overcome that challenge?
