We have crated a list of guidelines and questions to help you create an impactful and inspirational video about your experience. What should you include in the video? We would truly appreciate your participation! Thank you for sharing your journey! This year’s Latino Summit event will take place on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at Harper College. We will be sharing the finished video documentary after it’s viewing at the event.
![]() In late March 2016 Stanford announced that accepted students whose families make less than $125,000 a year won’t have to pay anything for tuition. Stanford's student tuition normally runs nearly $46,000 a year. “Our highest priority is that Stanford remain affordable and accessible to the most talented students, regardless of their financial circumstances,” said Provost John Etchemendy in a press release. “Our generous financial aid program accomplishes that, and these enhancements will help even more families, including those in the middle class, afford Stanford without going into debt.” The school says that 77 percent of undergraduates leave without student debt. Click here for article![]() The 15th annual Latino Summit at Harper College was a successful event which occurred on Friday November 20th, 2015. There were over 510 students in attendance. The event has continued to grow with a passion for inspiring youth to establish post secondary goals for college attendance and career development. The Latino Summit also takes great pride in establishing scholarships for Latino Senior students. This year there were 36 scholarships awarded to deserving students. The scholarship process is highly competitive with over 120 scholarship applications received. The Latino Summit Committee is a selfless committee that continues to prosper and pay it forward to younger generations! |
