Ovidilio Vásquez is a National Leadership Keynote Speaker. He went from being a farmboy raised in a poor village in the sugarcane fields of Central America to working for global companies like; Apple, Uber, Salesforce, Tesla, and General Motors. Despite being labeled "at-risk" Ovi graduated from High School in three short years. He earned his B.A. in Business Management and is a TEDx speaker on Self-Leadership. We would truly appreciate your participation! Thank you for sharing your journey! This year’s Latino Summit event will take place on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at Harper College. We will be sharing the finished video documentary after it’s viewing at the event.
In late March 2016 Stanford announced that accepted students whose families make less than $125,000 a year won’t have to pay anything for tuition. Stanford's student tuition normally runs nearly $46,000 a year. “Our highest priority is that Stanford remain affordable and accessible to the most talented students, regardless of their financial circumstances,” said Provost John Etchemendy in a press release. “Our generous financial aid program accomplishes that, and these enhancements will help even more families, including those in the middle class, afford Stanford without going into debt.” The school says that 77 percent of undergraduates leave without student debt.
