UIC Helps Latino students prepare for Medical career

Medicina Academy Apprentice Program (MAAP) and Latino Health Science Enrichment Program (LAHSEP) are two programs sponsored by UIC designed to help Latino High School Students prepare for professions in the medical field.

High School Graduation Rates Reach Record Highs; Gap Narrows for Black and Latino Students

According to the U.S Department of Education black and Latino high school students are continuing to close the graduation gap with their white counterparts. The following article from The Root explains the data and why education is important.
